Level 53 And Counting

I just didn't feel like posting yesterday, sorry about that, but here's one :).

So, Sophia made it up to Malistaire. Awesome volcano ride!

THE SUSPENSE

After getting little from Gurtok & Tumok, I made it!

Tarlac & Sophia trying to talk sense into him, but no...

EPIC WIN! :D

Back in the safeness that is Ambrose' Office. Snack break, THEN Celestia.

Some green misty stuff I noticed on top of a rune by the King after beating Jotun. Someone trying to poison him? O_o

Celestian roof! I had a tough fight with Optio Agenor, but emerged victorious

If you've done this quest, you probably know what I'm talking about. Luckily, it just took 4 fights to collect the pesky 3 pieces of icky algae. Below is the deck I used, if thats helpful! I survived each battle :)

CELESTIAN SEAHORSE HI! :P I soloed the Stellarium, dying at that Myth guy once, but came back and he was without his minion, so I managed to win that (thankfully they took away that meteor-when-you-heal little cheat on him) and Selwyn was easy, no more weird cheating of his own either. Next was..

My favorite area here. Peaceful "landlubber" breeze up here! Now, I'm in Stormriven Hall (already, yes, you might ask. Some people find questing tedious, but I easily get the bug to do it) and can't wait to get to the Portico for reagents and 58 for Snow Angel. I'm hardly turning in any side-quests, as I hear WT gives quite a bit and I'll save the CL/DS ones to turn in when a new level cap comes out. Gah, eXP. I'm making a goal to get to the Crustacean Empire by Wednesday, I'm going to my Grandmas again and won't be on the Computer till Tuesday, so expect 4-5 days until the next post. Lastly, I'll dish my opinion on the new WT music:

-Dull
-Depressing
-Dreamy

3 'D' words, basically. For dull, I just think there are too many drums, low sound, etc. Depressing, just not enough rhythm and again, low sound. Dreamy, the only good trait, is the likening to a famous tale, like Narnia, that I found it to be. Some parts are nice, but pretty much 2/3 - eh :/. And I think there's too much of a deal over it, Kingsisle should give more credit to Nelson Everhart's better music, and even though its aimed for kids, how about making a big deal of a person from the old days so children can learn more about what their parents grew up in/may have liked? Some kids would find it boring I guess, and they need all the customers they can get, but thats my 2 cents. Whoever it turns out to be, KI should pay more attention to their work like whatever the next world is, fixing bugs, etc. Apologies to the "hot new talent", as well. Have a great couple of days, wizards :D (and try not to be pessimistic, lol, new pet peeve of mine. Its almost Summer!)

Happy Questing!

P.S. Also, don't be surprised if I have some pics from Moongem's wizzy-versary party thats starting, it should be a blast :D

Ymir, Grum, Krag - Weird Names In The Same Questline

Points to anyone who can get which boss says the following excerpt ;)

YAYYYYYYY

Rowr. Scary?

Ooh! Sure :D

YAYYYYYY x2.

With Wintertusk, the Coven plans to wake up the Ice Titan. Yet, this one comes awake to aid me.. must be a brother or clone O_o. So, after a bit of walking & fighting (getting a Death Ninja for the 2nd account from Yakedo in the process, too :P)...

Bringing a Rainbow Bridge to Wizard City - sweet. I don't understand why I can't just go to Grizzleheim, though, lol.

"Magical heat"!

Doesn't that look like the one Granny Raven carries? Mystery solved :)

I don't see why Ymir would have a brother with the same name. So.. its a clone!

Paranoia of Trolls, much?

I RESENT THAT!

W00T!

DA BANHAMMER STRIKES!

Plus, I finished off the rest of DS, with 'Lord Elvis' by my side :P. HI FATHER DRAKE!

Ooh, lava volcano tunnel :D

DON-DON-DONNN. Time for Malistaire *cackle*. I'll do that today (including the Gurtoks, for once!) I bought the first areas of CL a while ago, so that awaits next :)

Ymir back in his "icy fastness". Speaking of which, I'll hopefully complete Jotun today, too, so Ravenscar is next, but I don't think I'll have the Crowns for a couple days at least :/. They are resetting the Test Realm (pretty bad news, off for a whole day, BUT hopefully they fixed all of the bugs found) so thats probably news that Wintertusk won't arrive in the LR for at least another week, giving Sophia more time. LvL 60 (Waterworks runs) + completion of GH (Wintertusk) vs. the ticking clock of WT going Live. Okay, I'm guessing I'll need 20k more Crowns to buy the rest of the game, hopefully I can convince parents for me to spend $60 on the Crowns deal again (and I'll still have a lot of Crowns for other things left over, maybe gift Arlen something :P). See, they are hesitant on me spending my own $$$ on a game, lol. Hopefully I can buy some (heck, I'll even wash the dishes -.-) so, until next time -

Happy Questing!
-Next post will probably be my opinion on the "Mystery Composer" music, let me just say, I want Nelson Everhart back for the next world xD-

Towering Abyss

Sophia has a lot to show off after this past week, getting to Jotun & the Labyrinth.

Creepy Webwood Crawlers, and the Grendels worst enemy

The Grendel originally shown was lying on the ground for 10 seconds, glitchy, but I snapped this right when he got up so I figured I'd zoom in on Sophia's ninja skills instead :P

Dragonspyre version of 'SEAHORSE SAYS HI' in newly decked-out 45 gear :D

Looking into one of the Dragonspyrian Towers abyss (*dramatic music*)...

... and survivng a dramatic battle full of fizzled Blizzards. Defeat of Orin was a little too close..
So, I finished the Labyrinth last night and am now at the Pyromancer's Tomb (then another run of the 'Rinth for Obsidian Chest :/). Just reached LvL 47, so next post, I'll most likely have Frost Giant! YAY! In GH, I'm just waiting for a friend to reach Jotun then do Ravenscar (and duel-box WT w/Arlen when that comes out, hopefully) but again, have plenty DS-questing to do in the meantime.

In the upcoming Podcast News, we've narrowed down the details to Saturday at 2 or 8:30 PM EST (I'm for 2, but most want 8:30. What can I say? Daytime Podcast would be cool :P) and names: Lunch with Lounge Wizards (if at 2) or Loungin' with Lounge Wizards xD. Some problems too between hosts but hopefully that will be sorted out as well. Plus as everyone knows, bin Laden is finally down. I'm not really for the Death Penalty, but if they had captured him alive, it would have been much more costly/problematic for where to put him on trial, etc. and he was apparently using one of his own wives as a human shield, and wouldn't surrender, so, I guess he didn't give anyone the chance to forgive him. But thats a whole nother story between religion & politics which I don't want to get into. But the Smart Allec Wiz made a great poem about the whole thing, and as Blaze Stormthief put it, "the worlds worst Gobbler is dead". Thats, well, it! :P We should have the Podcast's details all set up by my next post.

Happy Questing!
