Also, a goodbye is in order for Homework in a Graveyard, a blog that I truly enjoyed reading. I remember, as a newbie to blogging, looking through her old posts and feeling a pang of sadness on her leave for half a year from 2009-2010, but she was back in business by that time. I remember reading her short Penny Dreadful fanfic and wanting more! As my experience in the community grew, I couldn't help but notice her absence for another few months from late 2010-early 2011, and I think I squee'ed when I saw a new post from her on my blogroll again. Her amazing techno work, in her pictures, in her 'AutDOSK' personality, must have had quite some time spent on them, and I really admire the work in those for OUR enjoyment. I know I'm not supposed to be sad at the conclusion, but my heart dropped when I saw her tweet and checked her blog. We'll still see you in-game Autumn, I'm sure, but its hard not to miss an ending of such a fantastic blog. I was such a fan I felt like a Belieber being followed by Justin when I got her friend request! LOL. Once more, thank you very much for your time, Autumn, and I hope to see you in the Spiral! :D

Lastly, another good luck to those starting school in the upcoming weeks (including me!) and those starting off on the real grind recently. High School seems a lot cooler, and I got some good teachers in my Orientation today. By next post I'll probably have started, so please forgive me if I start posting less once the papers start becoming a weight! ;)

Oh, yes, and best wishes to those in Irene's path. We may be affected on Sunday, a little off the seashore but still quite possible, so hoping for the best. And that earthquake on Tuesday, that shook us up (no pun intended) quite a bit, as I'd never experienced one of course. Till next time,

Cast a Change reminder! And Extra Life

First of all, I finally figured out Pre-Algebra. IN YOUR FACE, TEACHER! lol, anyways I'm hoping to get an A in that, the unit now seems easy. I also just finished The Pearl by Jon Steinbeck ( author of the class - Mice and Men ) and it had a pretty sad ending. Why must Middle school have all these books with sad endings??? *groan* ok, onto the real stuff...
Wandcast has ended ( D: ), the great podcast by the Info cousins and Kestrel, it was a great show. And, Cast for Change is tomorrow! Please remember to be in the Dryad realm - Life Tower by 6:30PM EST. We need all the people we can get! I'm posting this from my dad's computer, since my computer's thing-a-majigy that makes the Internet work is broken, so my dad should get a new one tomorrow. And OF COURSE Selena Gomez has come to the Spiral, I loved the ending part of the quest where the King Crab delivers his "Ocean Nuptials" poem, xD. Then, Selena sings her "Round and Round" hit, and I just love dancing w/her and the crabs then to celebrate. And SWIMMING! Too awesome. I also got 2 Myth Sprites ( on different characters ) from those 2 Crab Guards, interesting. Selena is an Ice wizard btw, *gasp* There's so much to post, but I'll be back w/my statue of the week and my "Round and Round" pictures in a day or 2, not to mention Cast a Change pictures. An "Epic" night, school, and a sad announcement

First of all, I have not 1, but 2 new Epic pets, all in 1 night!

They both got Bananas! derby skill, lol. A great skill, although I'm not planning on derby-ing them anytime. Sparky got Pip O' Plenty! Rex got, not as good, but Storm-Proof! ( At least it wasn't a more Will/Intellect etc. skill ) The sad announcement is: Lord Spike, my beloved Orthrus, has announced his retirement D:. Quoting from Spike - "Since Sparky has better talents, and I've had so many adventures, I'd like to take a bit of a rest, and spend more time at the Dawneyes household with his other great pets. Sorry everyone, but I'm decided" I did work out a compromise with him though - He can stay by my side when I am not fighting enemies, and when I am, he can take a break at home. This brings me back to when I first met Ol' Spike... I had gone through agony in the Labyrinth, and was now ready to summon him in the Ancient Burial Grounds. He immediately popped out of the ground when he first saw me, and whimpered at my feet and enjoyed the bone I had bought for him. It was more than worth it, and he agreed to accompany me in my travels. So thanks for being there Spike, I still love ya! :). Now it's time to train the Grim and Lifezilla, always work to do. *sigh* Changing the subject, you've all read Mythspent Youth's school tips, right? She just worked out a third part to the guide, and Wizard101 even featured the blog on the login screen today, so congrats for the appearance and the great posts Mythspent! I'm writing this at 1AM, since the week before school is always frought with worry so I can't sleep, therefore, I'm going to lessen my time on Wizard101 a little in the next 2 weeks, mainly to focus, and get outside a little more. I've been a couch potato this summer ( mostly with my excuse that it's too hot outside, lol ) so since it's also getting cooler, I'm going to get out a little bit too. Tomorrow I'm just planning on snacking and lying on the grass looking at the clouds :D. This reminds me, I've been meaning to add a feature to the blog with a daily Peanuts ( Lord Sparky is named after his "sparky" bolts on his back, and my favorite writer's nickname - Charles Schulz a.k.a Sparky. Lord Snoopie the Grimzilla is named after, well Snoopy :) ) comic but I've forgotten for a bit. So this morning, I bring you my dad's favorite comic, and it has to do with my itenirary today - The comic from 8/14/60!
