Sights of the Spiral - Northgard

Was kinda hoping Zafaria would come out today.. oh well. Time for a segment post!

I FINALLY found the Wysteria Library Archives and was pretty amazed.. yeah, I know I'm late on that discovery :P I got all the Wallflowers though!




Awesome.

After finding where the WT Runestone was, I finally found the reason for that 'invisible bridge'. You have to get ice. Again, late discovery. Going with the KBB strategy to get rid of some fighting side-quests and leaving the "talk to _____ for ____ EXP" out there to get free EXP once the level cap comes out. Never realized my Sophia, my Ice character, had so many quests o_o

And, there you go! It had been a while since a GH one and it really is a pretty world, and I stuck with their simple hub: Northgard. Its really beautiful if you stop to look around :)

Not much time, as its a weekday, so hopefully by the next post Zafaria will be out.. and, hey, I *might* not post till after Thanksgiving either, so..

So, the video I had for this Segment finally worked, so here you go! ^.^

These areas are mainly known for PvP trolls, Gobblers, etc. but there is some beauty to them, as we all pass by often. Hope you enjoyed that!

Also, a goodbye is in order for Homework in a Graveyard, a blog that I truly enjoyed reading. I remember, as a newbie to blogging, looking through her old posts and feeling a pang of sadness on her leave for half a year from 2009-2010, but she was back in business by that time. I remember reading her short Penny Dreadful fanfic and wanting more! As my experience in the community grew, I couldn't help but notice her absence for another few months from late 2010-early 2011, and I think I squee'ed when I saw a new post from her on my blogroll again. Her amazing techno work, in her pictures, in her 'AutDOSK' personality, must have had quite some time spent on them, and I really admire the work in those for OUR enjoyment. I know I'm not supposed to be sad at the conclusion, but my heart dropped when I saw her tweet and checked her blog. We'll still see you in-game Autumn, I'm sure, but its hard not to miss an ending of such a fantastic blog. I was such a fan I felt like a Belieber being followed by Justin when I got her friend request! LOL. Once more, thank you very much for your time, Autumn, and I hope to see you in the Spiral! :D

Lastly, another good luck to those starting school in the upcoming weeks (including me!) and those starting off on the real grind recently. High School seems a lot cooler, and I got some good teachers in my Orientation today. By next post I'll probably have started, so please forgive me if I start posting less once the papers start becoming a weight! ;)

Oh, yes, and best wishes to those in Irene's path. We may be affected on Sunday, a little off the seashore but still quite possible, so hoping for the best. And that earthquake on Tuesday, that shook us up (no pun intended) quite a bit, as I'd never experienced one of course. Till next time,

Sights of the Spiral - Hametsu Village

Hey, everyone! I made a little Youtube slideshow that went better than I thought, so here's the new & improved 'Sights of the Spiral'!

Hametsu Village has pretty war music (Oxymoron alert), and its pretty fun to go through. So, I chose it for this one. Enjoy :) I'll post my in-game updates tomorrow.

I've been wondering if Kingsisle has anything planned behind that door. When my Map was loading, 'Horned Barbarian' loaded for a second, which is a mob in DS. Hmm.

I like the storm feel here. Very nice! Especially the beginning stormy islands/bridges, I'd recommend taking a walk there should you want to be in KT :P. I've got a bit of progress and pictures on Sophia, so that will be next. I especially like the one w/the Krok dying and the Seahorse pose ;)

Sights of the Spiral - Kenisington Park

Hey Gang! First off, I'm SURE you've heard, but 8.9 earthquake/tsunami in Japan. Probably a seriously buffed rogue Myth wizards spell combined with Tempest :P but in all seriousness, prayers for you guys over there. Now we go to my usual hangout in Marleybone.

"Gadzooks" "H.G Waggs" - Another reason MB is awesome.

Talk about a huge factory, 5 floors! And, yet again, that big old hunk of Iron wouldn't drop anything good. The usual Kensington run-through :/. IRL, I have a big basketball tournament tomorrow and Michigan came back vs. Illinois :D and faces the Buckeyes tomorrow (BOO). Then 'Selection Sunday'. Me loves March Madness ;)

Figured it was time for me to do a Wizard City one. Cyclops Lane is what I'd call the rich peoples area of Wizard City. I mean, they have gold roofs! :P. I hope the neighbors aren't snobby. Oh wait, they are. Nolan Stormgate and Cyrus Drake come to mind.

Sights of the Spiral - Tomb of the Beguiler

So yesterday, I had the urge to go into Krokotopia. I missed the place! But, those things are easy, so where's a place there where I may have some challenge? And the Tomb of the Beguiler hit me (TotB). Plus, it has a floor of Ice, Fire and Storm so you can experience all of Krokotopia (not really but you get my point) in there ;D. So, I did the TotB in just under an hour, and had lots of fun! (with a surprise reward at the end!)

One of the Obelisks on the walls... remember these to unlock those gates!
