Hey everyone! Half the time these past couple days, my computer's been very frustrating to use, the other half it runs completely fine, so you never know the slow or fast phase will kick in. It was in the slow phase for the last half-hour but might be back-up.. anyways, I've still gotten some done (though I admit a lot of time has been spent on KI Free Games....)

This is what the Couch Potatoes are watching. Apparently the frozen TV in a fuzzy W101 Plant commercial. How do they enjoy watching this for nonstop days?

But they still seem to. Awe!

Now, who is this? (Actually, I forgot his name... lets call him 015) My sort-of-secret project, its a 3rd account! (Arlen! Are you becoming hopelessly addicted? So sad..) No, no, I'm never going to pay for anything in IRL $$$ on this one, its completely experimental, and the pet & sword are from KIFG. Its like TFN's total newbie account, basically. I've also made a secret project for a wizard on this account, Terri Unicorngrove, that shan't be revealed ;) oh ok, the main point of the account is how high a level I can get on a FTP (nerd gamer term - Free To Play) account. But Terri's one is a little different.

This was just a random one when my computer was going through a 'slowww' phase. As you can see, my player and House hadn't loaded, so I took a snapshot on this angle when that lightning hit the tower ^-^

And, my Questing fever reached a new height and I didn't have much else to do, so why not get on the Balance duo when my computer was running well? (It incidentally completely froze up on the 2nd quest in the Hall of Champions, so, 2 hours on 2 accounts, not bad) I'm completely skipping side quests, too.

This is a good strategy for you MB-haters out there tired of delivering purses (*cough* Kath Lightwielder *cough* - also props to her very intelligent posts, count this as a shoutout ;)), which I admit, I'm a little tired of too. I'll miss some of the puns, but the good outweighs bad, right? I'm already itching (ok, not counting the mosquito that found my leg tasty) to get to MB again! Squee!

So, the screenshots are from the Mander Minion quest - Tristan is 20, Tavia is nearly 22. From Assistant Dansforth to Nekhbet, not bad. So... that does kind of wrap it up. I've gotten quite a few new goodies from KIFG, too :) thats one excuse I've played a little less lol. Oh yes, lastly, I finished Ravenwood Radio Transcription #41 after a few hours of work, so KBB should have it up soon here. (Contact him if you'd like to do some!) Pretty tough, but definitely worth it!

FOGgy Prizes!

Hey everyone :) as you can see, my pretty much completed MFP/DS is in the above video. Big House. I'll buy that DS Craft Crowns Table thingy when I get the MSP Pack later. I think I'm getting it in about 2 weeks, after the Summer School? Thats half-way over. We'll see.

So, I've actually done a little bit on Dugan, my Fire wiz. Does anyone remember the Giving Tree? Yeah.. I just planted that on him.. *blush*. So, now I have a Parsley Garden on Arlen (and 2 Couch Potatoes I won from Diana Wildheart! :D), 2 Prickly Bear ones on Mycin (some turned Elder this morning :)), an almost-done Pink Dandelion plot on Tarlac (once I have enough Black Pearls), and a small Giving Tree/several Pink Dandelion garden on Dugan. I've cleaned out his storage-KT House and put a couple things in to start it off, actually, as well. Plus I'm still trying for a little Yardbird item right now. LOL. Not much else going on in-game there. In-game, that is :P

2 big items I've received from www.KIFreeGames.com! :D the Lightningbat was from a Twitter code they gave out, but you can only redeem one of them once a month. A little long, hope they will change to at least a week.. although one person got 600 crowns! o_O :D also, I've won a FOG Unicorn (3!), Blue Raptor Sword (uber-cool looking, definitely stitch worthy), and that wand above, among other things. Well, HERE'S a list of prizes you can get, to be honest. And HERE'S a list of Magazine codes, many being available from KIFG prizes. Doodle Dug is probably the quickest by far, lol. I just want a Shardtail Dragon on main account and FOG Unicorn for Storm newbie on 2nd account now, played a lot the past couple days.

Not much other news.. I'm going to work on Ravenwood Radio Episode #41 transcription a bit more, soon. Its fun to get involved in the community :) remember to give KBB a ring if you want to get involved! It takes a while, buts its very helpful to some wizards. Have a good end-of-the-week!

So, about that hatching picture, I'm close to 3/4 completion of a perfect Boss pet! Currently training a Fierce Hound on Sophia, got Spell-Proof at Teen, and will be Adult first thing tomorrow, with, very likely, Spritely or Feinting. And 50/50 it'll end up as an Ancient Feinting, Proof & Spritely pet :D. Though, as I've said my last want talent is 'May Cast Tower Shield'. Thats a rare one. Blech. I've got a friend with the many of the only pet with the talent, Vigilant Dragon, who may train some up soon, though. So, I'm getting there :). The Pale Maiden was from a hatch with a Central Member who had Feinting on it, plus I now have one for my DS House, lol.

In Housing, I got the Headmaster Statue after a little bit, but have zero luck with Labyrinth Statues atm. I've gotten several Kraken Statues over time from the Silver Sentinel in the past, so there might be one in a bank somewhere. The main enemy is that loose Storm Boss (it'll come to me.. not the.. gah, WHAT ARE THEIR NAMES?) but anyway, he drops the Wyrmkin Statue. I've seen plenty of people with it, but I've fought him uncountable times and nada. JUST ONE, I ASK! Hopefully I'll have that luck tomorrow. But its just one item, sir annoying Storm Boss who I always forget the name and often forgets my Storm Prisms. A little to do with Housing, I'm making a little Gardening comeback, as I made 2 big plots of Prickly Bears for Mycin and am planning, just need to follow through, on a King Parsley garden on Arlen. Well, that DS Farming isn't a total waste. At least I don't have to craft anything for a while, except those Jade Chairs, right?

Almost There..

First off, I made a new Summer theme change! Please note if there's any problems reading, feedback, whatever. I like the serene-ness :).

Speaking of Summer, I have 1 day left till I'm FREE! :P all I have to worry about now is a stupid Math packet & a small 3-week Summer School thing starting the 27th, but I think its 4 hours with 14 days going so won't be too bad, besides, it will be easier to start High School next fall (one good thing is it being a mile away -walking downtown- and a McDonalds next to it xD hopefully I'll make some friends too). Short story short, I'm pretty darn excited. The 16th I'm getting 4 teeth pulled and don't have to go to school, so. Anyways, as this is a Wizard101-blog, I seem to have an urge to work on my MFP lately with the Dragons Hoard Pack coming out (one hint: the House's theme is in the time when the Dragon Titan is taking over, battlefields, etc), so I'm having fun making a couple areas of that. One problem is me wanting quite a few DS Sarcophagus items, but they cost a few Crowns. They do drop from Vasek Ashweaver in the Grand Chasm, but a couple months ago I fought him around 50 times and nada. I could use some King Parsleys for a future garden too though xD. For Mycin's MS House, Tarlac's Pink Dandelion Garden is helping bring in the Black Pearls for those Jade Chairs to craft, but I've had no luck with some other furniture dropping so far. Sophia, I guess, is on hold at the moment, a Rank 9 Gardener, btw.

Lastly, I went to the trouble of downloading LotRO yesterday, but after I log in: "Can't open the data files. Check that they exist and that you have permission to write to them. The program will now exit. {201}" so apparently, it doesn't work, this computer or something. Darn! I wanted to see some cool game scenery :P. Time to get farming for some furniture, see ya after school's out! :D

In other Wizard101 News, and, as I'm sure you know, is the Pet-a-Palooza! I'm not going to buy any of the pets, as you can get them through hatching with someone else too of course, but I just found out a couple other cool things! First, for just THIS month, you can win extra prizes, which include PETS! Even an Ianthine Spectre, should you be lucky & good enough ;). "Bonus Items" include Snacks from Rank 2 to Mega (received 2 Dragonhorned Melon from Doodle Dug at 20k scores), and Energy Elixirs. Read about it HERE. Quite a few have won some of the lowers, Death Scarabs and such. I want a Storm Beetle (very very old promo pet, I sold mine I think D:) and/or FOG Unicorn & Stormbat personally. No luck on those yet :). And, possibly even better, "there will be new pets released throughout the month of June". Can you spot 2 new ones in their commercial?

Well anyways, Ice Scarab & Patriotic Leprechaun pets were spotted here! I'm pretty sure the Leprechaun will be in the new 4th of July vendor that Kingsisle hinted a while ago, and Ice Scarab, Crowns/Drop or both, maybe another promo? We'll see :). And thats probably the beginning. Woot! Is hoping..

For my Characters, I've managed to get some things done, like checking every night on my Garden for one ;P

King Parsley is apparently hanging on to his blue suede shoes and is afraid to go Elder. LOL, I'll harvest the stubborn fellow tonight :P

Handshake ^_^. I just need to craft 2 Warrior Statues around the PvP Ring & I may be done with the outside. Maybe, as in, still have trouble thinking of what to put out there as its still pretty bare :P. For the inside, I just need 2 Moon Icons and a Celestian Fern. 5 not-so-hard items! :D next post might just be my showcase of the CL Observatory. For MS House, I got 2 items closer to finishing, 1 Wild Bamboo & a Dark Green Silk Kimono. About the Kimono, I farmed Fushiko once for 3 hours, got one thing I needed, but never got the Kimono (it was technically a rumor then that it dropped from Fushiko, photo-proof was shown on Central just recently) and I found it in the Bazaar, was about as surprised and happy as getting that Gear Rack & Bodkin of the Hearty (is it just me, or am I learning about a lot of new items recently?! :P). To finish off, I need:

Aprils Fools or WT?

Yea, my Fickle Pickles turned Elder! Woot. 2-3X the rewards of a normal harvest. But thats not exactly why I'm posting. (Hehe, they're shrugging me off. Don't want to go to Plant Heaven.)

Check the top right corner. Okay, so 8:15 AM CST, April 1 is when the countdown ends. Is it Wintertusk, Crab Alley's Future, a Briskbreeze-like tower (like the CL Prequests) or... an April Fools Joke?!?

I personally think its when Wintertusk will hit the Test Realm. Don't they put additions in the Spiral at the end/beginning of a month? (might be wrong..) But don't get your hopes up! Its the same day as April Fools, haha. 8:15 AM CST (or, Kingsisle time - KST) is often just after a maintenance has ended, so this is further proof that they put WT in the Test Realm then. If it IS April Fools, Kingsisle will have a LOT of angry e-mails and such to answer to. Friendly can do it, but Kingsisle, with a huge game... lol, don't think so. So, what'dya think? PLEASE don't be an April Fools Joke......

Pickle Shmickle

Hey Gang, still doing a lot ITS! Mostly Kensington Park (KP), but still.

Just for the heck of it, I ported Alura in to see how she would fare against Lord Nightshade. A LvL 5 Myth, equipped w/an Ascendant Staff. <- Haha, look at her health at that point, she'd go on to heal and become victorious. Fun little battle.

I decided to try the Fickle Pickles, VERY needy but huge loot tables. I need some of those high-level reagents and such, and some of the trashy TCs they harvest are good selling material (Wildbolt-1100 gold!)

SEE?!? Yeah, yea, say "humph" because I'm taking good care of you.

I did Kensington Park on Tarlac to test how long that would take; took basically the same time as Arlen (1 hour, straight up), although Tarlac died at one point because he was distracted at Twitter and Satyr fizzled, xD. So yea, pretty funny line of Stoker that I had completely forgotten. "Come and feel the burn!" ^_^

I also managed to solo the Jotun Bros. once, but have died every other time, hehe. Doing some HoV (Hall of Valor) runs for a change of pace from KP and want another Death Troll, Yardbird furniture item & Zombie pet. Its pretty fun attempting to solo them. For some reason, Grendels let you go as close as under their armpit before they pull you in, rofl

Random, lol. No, I'm not planning on keeping that Carved Pew there, that view just looked pretty ;).

As you can see, VERY random rewards and a huge loot table. One more 1/2 page not shown either :P. Have high hopes for it!

There was a lot of Wintertusk theorycrafting on Twitter, which P.D. wrote a post on. Its really fun -and confusing- to think about it all. Ravenwood Radio was great last night, I actually managed to listen to the whole thing! Ditto and Icy with her banhammer in the chatroom did great. Lots of questions being thrown out there last night :). And, should whoever is reading this check the other blogs and/or Central, you've heard about the Egg & Nightmare pet! Nightmare is a very pretty black w/firey hair-tuffs which gives Meteor Strike. I'm personally going to try for an Egg -literally, an Egg with duck legs- and get it great stats hopefully (Spritely, Pain-Giver, Proof & Defy is my dream pet :)) since it gives the Tower Shield card, and, its, well, cute! Unicorn & Helephant is the Nightmare, and Egg is Collossus & Dragon for clarification. Yes, the newbie WC Dragon and Unicorn, cool, huh? Thank goodness I saved Andrew's (my retired Ice guy, if you've heard about him) Collossus! Thats basically it, have a happy St. Patricks day too, and do that last minute Lucky Leprechaun farming from the Jade Oni if you want! I'm not wearing green, hehe, sorry! *pinches self*

Farming, Housing, The Usual

Hey Gang! 3 days without a post, and I've got some screenshots and such, so..

Here's something I noticed. See the little insignificant stone pattern I'm standing on? This is how I think you summon the Indiana-Jones style rockfall in the Island Getaway. About every 15 seconds (?) when you stand on it, I notice it flash and the rock fall. AHHHH!

I got to see a sneak peak of Paige's sweet Emerald City house. (Hope you don't mind 1 picture, Paige!) Woke up early on Sunday, and seeing it with good friends on an early weekend morning is awesome. Very dreamy too, one room gave me a good dream feeling :).

So, there was a big -no, HUGE- Central party that I decided to look at, with the pickup area taking up 4 areas xD. Some got to the house destination, I ended up going back to farming. But check out how crowded Area 1 was (poor Gamma!)

And, I got a Lucky Leprechaun :D. Jade Oni was appreciative after an hour or 2 of farming. Got 2 wands as well, might farm again for a couple different type wands. I believe thats it! Well, of course, don't think I've mentioned it here, but I'm against the text-chat update with no caps. 'xd', ':d' and I like capital 'I's. Its sad, a few bad apples and such. Can't KI at least let us use those ':D' faces? Ah well. Been doing a lot of Helgrind Warren farming on Tarlac for Fancy Tankard items (fancy cup, has a neat drawing of Ice Giant fighting a Dragon on it) for his house from Wild Kraken boss, plus there's quite a few reagents in there :). Yea, random title, I know. Hard to come up with a catchy one. You'll find out what that is later in this post :P but anyways, time for some game updates on my part :)
















Pink Dandelion garden (mostly) turned Elder. The 'Pungent Bug Spray' spell adds a nice touch, seeing as they're going to plant heaven.


















The main rewards. Some gave Sunbird TCs, some 2 of the same reagent, etc. Multiply rewards like that by 50. Black Pearl heaven :D














Mycin, with Blaze Stormthief, beat Calypso and 2 Blue Barts for the heck of it. I gotta say, that drunken old hog has the best animation ever :). Sometimes he looked like he wanted to find the back of the bar, to, well, toss his...rum.











Randomly beat Helgrind Warren, and its cooler than I thought. Has a Dragonspyrian touch at the lava zone, a Krokotopian touch at the sand part, etc. The Kraken boss had green fingernails, even o_o. So, whats the sewer thingy by Ullik? Didn't think the Norse mythology based on Grizzleheim had access to new technology. *shrug*

Chamber of Watered Doom, I shall call it. I don't know, but Ullik has a tight, yet awesome, home.

Anyway, couple more things. Tarlac finished the Trial of the Spheres today, earning nothing good in the process :P. At 8:30 tonight is a big bash for Jordan Seadreamer's birthday sponsered by... Oh, and Mycin has been farming the Tree of Life like Zeus struck him. So far, I've managed 2 Youkai's Bonsai's, 1 Crimson Silk Kimono, 1 Samoorai Statue and 1 Gong of the Oni. I still need... 1 Green Ghost pet, 1 Stone Sarcophagus, 1 Deathbat pet, 1 Statue of Hyottoko and 1 Gong of the Oni. Gah! At least its kinda fun and I have a ton of Black Lotus and such now.

Finally able to plant my 60 Pink Dandelions. I might have to use that rug trick to harvest some in the middle, but all in all they fit the aura for needs perfectly (only 40 energy, including the Rank 1 Pests away for 2 days spell)

So, after getting home from a half-day of school (WOOT Winter Break!) all my Deadly Fly-guys were Elder! As I was expecting (and hoping!) they gave 3000 GXP o_O

The Rewards. Wraith TC? Woah! (it can only sell for 300 though, so I'd keep it :P). More importantly, look at the badge! Woohoo! For now, I'm going to make a Pink Dandelion garden since they give rare harvest reagents and are pretty easy to take care of. Not just quitting now :).

So, in other news...

Thurston Plunkett is now a frog (suits him right ;P)

I just noticed this, the Legendary Vial used to just give Time of Legend (just like the Black Widow's amulet, but costing more) but I got it as a drop and *jaw-drop* IT HAZ FROG! Way better than my Moon amulet (which I sold. heheheh.) but most of the time I'm still sticking with the Feint one, although this will come in handy on Kensington Park runs. Mycin's getting to 58 soon too! I'll leave you with...
