Exciting news today with the April Newsletter! (<-- clicky) The end of a dull winter brings not one, but two upcoming Test Realms! *gasp*

The big news yesterday, however, was just as awesome. Check it out.

Anywho, to make up for the fact that I haven't had any brief trivia contests in a while, I've decided to give away one of the new Mighty Steeds. I'll make it simple. I'll give away one Steed on either Wizard101 OR Pirate101. The winner will receive the mount on whatever game they entered in.

Here are the questions to answer for a chance at the mount in either game:

Pirate101: Who's your favorite Companion?

(i.e. Bonnie Anne)

Wizard101: What's your favorite "Easter Egg" (pop-culture reference) in-game?
(i.e. 'Roger the Shrubber' in Avalon, based off Monty Python & The Holy Grail)

I'M A FAIRY!

Anyways, due to my friend in town, I have gone another week mostly dormant. But hey, the roller coasters were fun, lets get to the News!

As you all.. I think.. know, Wysteria has entered the known Spiral. It has one Common-Area, Pigswick, and 2 other streets, Tanglewood Way and Pegasus Place. The main complaint is Potter-rip-off, but besides that, its pretty neat. I liked the design of Pigswick streets and the new schools based off others (Chaos = Death; Earth = Life, etc.), although I don't know if they serve a purpose. I did a little of Pegasus Place, saving some surprise for the Live Realm, but I hear of a big Spiral Cup item and Golden Piggle, which seems pretty worth it. And the clothes possibly stitch-worthy. It has its own spot on the Spiral Door, so you could say its a small World.

One little biggy is the hints to possibly new worlds: Mirage and Weirwood. Will we see these in the future?! I'll talk more about this when it comes Live to avoid too much spoiling, but remember to help Petnome while the Test Realm is upon us!

Two other things: new August KIFG rewards, and, not too big, but a few new Krokotopia tidbits I just noticed in the crowns shop (plates and icons). The new KIFG rewards are pretty sweet as usual, thankfully, even PERMANENT mounts this time! Plus, if you can score high, a chance at a few crowns! :) A lot more pets, among other things, too. Rumors even of a new Fire Elf pet? More findings to come in the future.

In other Wizard101 News, and, as I'm sure you know, is the Pet-a-Palooza! I'm not going to buy any of the pets, as you can get them through hatching with someone else too of course, but I just found out a couple other cool things! First, for just THIS month, you can win extra prizes, which include PETS! Even an Ianthine Spectre, should you be lucky & good enough ;). "Bonus Items" include Snacks from Rank 2 to Mega (received 2 Dragonhorned Melon from Doodle Dug at 20k scores), and Energy Elixirs. Read about it HERE. Quite a few have won some of the lowers, Death Scarabs and such. I want a Storm Beetle (very very old promo pet, I sold mine I think D:) and/or FOG Unicorn & Stormbat personally. No luck on those yet :). And, possibly even better, "there will be new pets released throughout the month of June". Can you spot 2 new ones in their commercial?

Well anyways, Ice Scarab & Patriotic Leprechaun pets were spotted here! I'm pretty sure the Leprechaun will be in the new 4th of July vendor that Kingsisle hinted a while ago, and Ice Scarab, Crowns/Drop or both, maybe another promo? We'll see :). And thats probably the beginning. Woot! Is hoping..

For my Characters, I've managed to get some things done, like checking every night on my Garden for one ;P

King Parsley is apparently hanging on to his blue suede shoes and is afraid to go Elder. LOL, I'll harvest the stubborn fellow tonight :P

Didn't know this dropped. I just wanted another Wu Picture for my House! lol, I didn't even know that Athame existed to be honest. Was like 'What the heck? O_O'

Handshake ^_^. I just need to craft 2 Warrior Statues around the PvP Ring & I may be done with the outside. Maybe, as in, still have trouble thinking of what to put out there as its still pretty bare :P. For the inside, I just need 2 Moon Icons and a Celestian Fern. 5 not-so-hard items! :D next post might just be my showcase of the CL Observatory. For MS House, I got 2 items closer to finishing, 1 Wild Bamboo & a Dark Green Silk Kimono. About the Kimono, I farmed Fushiko once for 3 hours, got one thing I needed, but never got the Kimono (it was technically a rumor then that it dropped from Fushiko, photo-proof was shown on Central just recently) and I found it in the Bazaar, was about as surprised and happy as getting that Gear Rack & Bodkin of the Hearty (is it just me, or am I learning about a lot of new items recently?! :P). To finish off, I need:

WT Notes, Plus Big Day For My Newbies

random drawing yesterday, and received this beauty. As you can see, I gave it to my newbie account :). Now why is my newbie lady in KT? I got the 60k Crowns Deal! Now my mom's character can ride in style anywhere in the Spiral! :D I got Crowns since I don't plan on going quickly, just level whenever I'm bored and stuff. So, I suppose I'll level my Balance duo, then Death, then my Ice to make an "Ultimate Legendary" team (Having a Legendary from all 7

schools!)

Rogue made this little rug bridge, and it looks like I'm standing on nothing.. plus have you ever seen those support pipes beneath the Balance house? He also had a little hide-and-seek for a Shardtail Dragon, and Sloan won. He was standing in a glitchy spot that you can only port to (someone accidently gets there, people port, etc.) up in Olde Town.

Awesome.

So, now I can bring my alts on farming tours with me. The Norse Mythology post should be next, sorry, unless some other big things happen :P. For now..

First up though, some Bazaar catches!

I found this rare beauty (well, maybe not beauty but you get my point...) in the Bazaar. Could really use this for my far away future KT House. Drops from Ngozi the Beguiler, if you're interested!

A very nice member from Central offered to sell a Cello. I goofed up - I could SWEAR it was in the Furniture tab, but nooooo. By the time I realized my mistake, it had already been sold "Your Transaction Was Not Successful" -_-. But hey, someone else is very happy out there. Now my ongoing escapades for this item continue :P.

Also in-game, I got a Red Leaf Tree, made an Aquarium for Tarlac, got some feedback by several wizards and made a couple small changes to the household and am now trying for a Sun Banner item from General Akilles. He doesn't appear very willing. Now for the main point of the post though...

If you were here last May/June, there was something called a Gobbler Giveaway. I joined the community just in time to miss it though, but many blogs and sites got 5 free Gobblers from Kingsisle, and had contests for them. Now today, all the official sites are prepping for the:

Merry Day after Buy Nothing Day!

And Charles Schulz's birthday! ;). Yesterday, of course, was Black Friday. I was at my Grandma's house and slept through the whole thing :P. There's actually an unofficial holiday called Buy Nothing Day - same day as Black Friday of course - so we all don't get greedy now, hmm? Anywho, look what I won at Mythspent Youth!































Gift List! 'Tis the season to be greedy, hehe. The Mana Elixir was won from another blogger, being saved for Tarlac's Mali run (he's only got a little bit of mana what with his healing rings). But look how good Chase fits on it. Sweet! I put it in his bank so the timer won't run out, as Chase is a standby character for a while here. Now for a little update on Mycin, he is almost LVL 54 and is almost in Stormriven! Just got to beat some palm trees for the Coruscade and do some cute little Platypus side-quests, I LOVE the Floating Land. But I said that already. Storm isn't the best at Celestia, as the enemies have got a lot of power, I'd say I fared better on Arlen, especially with those stupid *ahem* Ice mobs. REVENGE IS AT HAND, YOU WAVERUNNERS! >_<. So, right now I'm almost done crafting all the kitchen items in GH for Tarlac's house. I may have to transmute some Mandrakes, as those are pretty darn hard to find - best area is at the end of Collossus Blvd. That's what's been going on in Wizzyland, so I'll take you through my Thanksgiving now :) 8:30 AM - Wake up and go eat pancakes 9 AM - Finish (they had Chocolate Whipped cream this year, who knew there was such a thing?) and play games 9:30 - Watch Macy's parade, get into the Christmas spirit :P 11:30 - Last minute packing rush, go to grandma's 2 PM - Arrive at grandmas, procede to hang in the Den watching TV 4 - Thanksgiving dinner! Get... stuffed. *ahem* 4:30 - The WHOLE family takes a long nap. I don't think a mattress has ever felt better 8 - Wake up just in time for a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving 9 - Watch a bio of Charles Schulz on PBS (Happy B-day!) 10:30 - Hang in the Den again, look at TV 12 - After reading Calvin & Hobbes, go to sleep So, it was a really good day. Today, Auburn made a ridiculous comeback, which really didn't help >_< (I'm a die-hard Boise fan, and if Alabama had won, Boise likely would clinch a spot in the Championship game) and Oregon, of course, pulled away in the 2nd half over Arizona. Ugh. And now, Boise and Nevada are having a pretty close game - Boise's winning by 7 w/ 4 minutes left, not too good. Why? Boise needs 'style points' - winning big over #19 Nevada - to move up in the rankings past TCU. If your not a College Football fan, you may read over the previous section. Oh, and Michigan lost in College Basketball, really bad day in sports :/. Getting past that, there's nothing much I can say, except it wasn't a bad last 2 days at all excepting sports :). I'll end it on a good note, with one of my favorite Christmas songs

I had eyes on my Pumpkin, and the Halloween set along with that staff and Black Cat ( yes, I'm saying I should have won xD ). I was AFK at the start, and found out they had already judged, while my running-in-circles-to-avoid-being-logged-off thing took me to the Halloween towers :/.

As I recall, the Ravenwood Ball reached 3 areas, so not QUITE as big

The majority of people went to Leesha's MFP afterwards. When everything was dying down, everyone's Wizard101 crashed twice here :/. Still, it didn't after 2 times and I did some practicing, losing twice because of partners leaving, etc. and won once. I will get my hands on those who said I was "Pwned" lol. It was a nice hectic party overall ;). Happy Adventuring!

First it was Amber's, now we have, not 1, not 2, but THREE birthdays yesterday. One of them was arranged into a party for Cassandra Griffindreamer - Also, late Happy Birthday wishes to John Spiritshade ( Ambrose2Zeke ) and Valdus Soulpyre ( Diary of a Wizard's husband ).

Speaking of which, the long-awaited Death Study Hall for Ravenwood Radio is tomorrow...who will be the stars of the show? Anyways, after doing the Obsidian-Chest quest in the Labyrinth for Tarlac ( and getting myself Vladimir's awesome Meat-Cleaver :D ) it was time for Cassandra's party and costume/treasure contest. Guess who won?

ME! *ahem* Anyway, I got some more sweet new cards to give to you all with my own raffle soon, I promise - and nothing required. Look at the Wizard101 icon who joined the party - better than Selena Gomez in my book. ( far left )

All of Tarlac's 40 Gear

I've been farming the Jade Oni, as you may know for the last 2 days and finally got the robe tonight! ( sorry Kieran ) so here's the pic:

The only thing missing is the Athame and Deck but I have the Runewarden's deck on which is just as good IMO :). So it's back to questing Tarlac past Mooshu for a bit ( If you're wondering where the gear is from, the hat is from Oyotomi, robe from Jade Oni and Boots from Plague Oni ) Wandcast #10 was tonight too, I went to the wrong site for the first 15 minutes xD. Lastly, I got a Scarecrow card from the Jade Oni (!) so I now have 2 of them. Therefore, I'm changing the contest prizes so they are even better. The 1st place prize remains the same - 2nd place: Scarecrow, Spirit Armor - 3rd place: 3 Ninja Pigs, Seraph, 5 Toughs - 4th place: Skeletal Pirate, Vampire - 5th place: Banshee, Reshuffle. And EVERY person who enters will recieve something, no matter what, all you have to do is write a 100+ letters rhyme about Celestia and e-mail me and I'll judge. I'll probably trade the cards from Mycin to Arlen too so you'll have to add Arlen to recieve prizes. Oh yea, I also finally came through with that stubborn Life Banshee

Heya guys! I'm pretty busy ITS as of late ( In The Spiral ) so here is my daily album of pictures from yesterday, and a little of today...

Tarlac's dryad quest, just the beginning...

Wha? Sunken City? Meh... at least I still had the quest in my book, and I need the Wraith statue still :)

So THAT'S what that chest is for. In his castle, you may notice 2 side rooms with these chests that are just there, I had no idea what they were for, but it gave me a Skeleton key for my Dryad quest

2 whole dungeons? Gosh Moolinda, lay off, lol. So me and Kieran Drake ( Stormforged Kitty's alt ) will do that when we get the real quest, Dryad isn't needed that bad. And yesterday, I got 2 hybrids in 1 day!

I renamed this Lifezilla Lord Rocky, heheh. He hatches in a couple more hours, and I renamed that Forest Oni Lord Louie, instead of 'Madame' who has hatched by now :). Mycin farmed Chronius for the HM Statue for awhile, and gathered enough stuff to sell for enough $$$ to hatch.

Now we have my CL dorm for Kieran's Dorm contest. He is accepting entries by e-mail right now, and the top prize is a: School house! So, I hope for Tarlac to get a free Life house this week, *pick me, pick me* lol. JK, may the best dorm win!

We have the Umbra Queen's royal couch, which Lord Sparky guards and it's precious vases, also are some Cherry blossom trees, some floor torches, Fishbones spelling out CL, 4 firecats, 2 orthrus's, and some Spider egg sacs lying around ( you know, Morganthe's a big Spiderlady ) plus a Dogfish statue on every wall.

Now, we have Jimmy Krueger's ghost in Wizard101 ( Nightmare on Elm Street, horror movie, I DO NOT watch horrors :-P ) Wait, wha?!?

GAH! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! But seriously, in the Spirit world in the Tree of Life, turn right when you get onto the dirt platform that Kagemoosha/Death Oni is standing on, now stop, look over the edge, wait a few seconds and this face appears

Look very closely, and it's a creepy face similar to the Death logo. It appears every 30 seconds or so, and glows eerily for 10 seconds. Clicky clicky to enlarge. Who would expect a horror movie character to appear in Mooshu? *shiver* Some more news and notes: I've decided to write some Fan Fiction called "Arlen's Adventures." But, I may have to scrap my Spike and Sparky comic since I'm not good at making those, and the Adventures of Arlen may be good enough ;D. I've written 2 parts to these adventures, and next week I will release Part 1, BUT I give you a quick preview right now! --------------------------------------

"Honey, if you don't come down in the next 10 seconds..." "Ok! Sheesh" As young Arlen took out the recycling, an interesting thing in the sky caught his eye... END OF PREVIEW. Find out what happens next week ;). And a notice: I can't post or play till Tuesday/Wednesday since were taking a 2 hour drive to visit grandma, like we do every couple weeks. It's always great to visit her ( despite no internet, but cable, lol ) and hang with the dog, and we always get Subs for dinner for one night ( I always eat mine faster than anyone else by far. ) So cy'all in a couple days and...
