Pieces Of 58

My, my. 'Pirate101'. We can count on Monquista, Valencia and Polaris (with penguins!) as possible new worlds. I don't have much time to go into great detail, but check out these sites for more information:
https://www.pirate101.com/
I am so digging the concept of being a Musketeer or Swashbuckler. Picture it: Musketeer Arlen Dawneyes II, King Of The Seas ;P
Anyways, while I still wait for Avalon and a possible beta invite to Pirates101, I've worked a bit on Alura and of course, the Death duo.
For the record, "Parvus sed potens" is available in Text Chat. So, if you ever feel like it, say:
"OMNIJAK PARVUS SQUIJAX POTENS STOPRMZILLA!"
The frog subtly tells the Pixies he had a bad sandwich for lunch.
And, onto the Death duo, who reached the Crustacean Empire and, ding, 58! :D

Though this first picture is out of place, little known fact: Wraiths love caves. Bad news for Gullin.

Lava caves, too!

3 Star Necklaces? Reallllly.

12 items? I'll take it.
Skeletal Drake treasure card says RAWR.
Bye bye, Wintertusk!

DUCK! IT'S CRASHING INTO THE DOGGY STATUE!
Little consolation, it still looks scary *shiver*

This should give you a good look into how risky that Osseus Nightreaver battle was. THANK YOU WRAITH!

Out of place pictures again? Sigh, you win, new Blogger layout.

Dark Scarecrow says HIIIII

Though we're going backwards in time, those stars are pretty.

Now we're all the way back in the Floating Lands? Drake treasure card doesn't mind.

Do Vampires have to suck water when they attack Sea Spirits?

Okay, I'm running low on time.. no, really!
I'll end with the honorary Pirate101 Valencia wallpaper dethroning  my Cherry Blossom  desktop wallpaper. YAY!

Happy Questing!

Don't Fear The Reaper.. again.

Happy last day of Shamrock Shakes for another year!
The Death duo has:
-Gotten to Vestrilund (2 WT areas!)
-Beaten DS (Couldn't get to CL because of level 48 requirement)
-Achieved level 48 and didn't really work on any houses

Not bad.

Could of just used this to break open the egg instead of fighting 10 Juggernauts who over-use death shields..

The spell is useful in a bit of cases, but I wish they'd lessen the consequences. Balanceblade is 5% less, but is 0 pips and doesn't require a 'sacrifice'. I'm okay with some sacrifice, but either making Dark Pact 0 pips or making the damage 100 or 200 would help. But hey, glad I have the spell :P

Pirate > Raven

JUXTAPOSITION! (Good word for English class)

And so, the duo finished the Forum. Always a good photo opportunity with Father Drake, especially with the matching red ;)

I feel awesome killing Malistaire with one of his past servants.

*eyeroll* Clever..

How is a bird related to Bartleby?

In the well.. this would be a good nuclear fallout shelter (creepy thought, I know)

I love summoning dead things.

Even better, fluffy things! :3 Sadie is scared, though.

Aaand it's time for the Scarecrow quest. ". . . terrible nightmares for a year . . . insane with terror." Creeeepy.

lol, backwards

Music scroll find :)

Quest name fail (same quest name in a GH quest :P) good song though!

1) I love it when random people watch.
2) Sadie's sinking o_o..

Poor "King" Sadie is going in the backpack soon..

So, let's set some goals for the beginning of April:
  • Get to Nastrond
  • Beat Survey Camp-Grotto
  • Finish DS crafting quest on Cheryl, start CL crafting quest (Chase is a Master Artisan!)
Running out of time, so I'll wrap it up there. Time to finish Vestrilund, start Celestia and watch some college basketball. Have a good week(s)!

Happy Questing!

End Of The Worlds

First of all, there's a new layout for this month. As Spring is a'coming, that pretty but outdated winter theme had to go. And, hey, nothing's wrong with a little St. Patrick's wallpaper!

February 18-March 3:
Labyrinth -> Forum
Hall of Valor -> almost done with Ravenscar

That's the last couple weeks in a nutshell.. I didn't quite finish DS and GH, but I'm pretty darn close. And I had an extra day! :P

The Jotun & brothers battle was pretty epic with just two level 42 death wizards. Cheryl and Chase were forced to under 500 health multiple times, as you can see on this finishing hit on Ullik:

That 1,059 health was very crucial, needless to say. It also looks like Jotun is breathing out some blue-ish air. Never knew his breath was that bad.

I didn't get anything good, but finishing this battle was enough for me :P
The duo also did the Labyrinth 1 1/2 times (remember the Obsidian Chest. Bleh.), and the Crystal Grove last weekend. These last couple of days have been the second part of the Drake Hatchery and Ravenscar (dang, that place is long). So, just the Forum, Great Spyre, and the last half of Ravenscar to go before finishing two worlds. Though Celestia and Wintertusk are long, that higher EXP is lovely :)

I also did a teeny bit of work on Chase's new Death house. So far, just the little skull path you can see in the front, some diseased mushrooms around the pool and one room inside the house. It's pretty creepy so far, and I'm finding myself more ambitious on furniture items here, as some I want are from the Nightmare Hoard Pack. Guess I have to wait until October to fulfill some items :P

Other than questing on the Death duo, a little housing and daily gardening, not much else to be included in this post. I did go to my first twizardDC "meeting" this afternoon. I'm all for a derby-racing club, and I had several fun races. Chico is a good racer and KBB is a good opponent! To come, just stop by the Pixie realm Pet Pavilion at 1 PM EST on Saturdays :) I'll take some pics next week.

Lastly, I guess I'll establish a new routine here by making a goal to do by 3-16:
- Beat that first area of Wintertusk who's name escapes me at the moment
- Beat the Survey Camp
- Get to level 45
- Work on one of my houses a bit

Similar things - beat X areas, work on house, etc.. maybe I'll do some crafting later on.
Well, have a good early March! And remember to set those clocks on March 11th, of course.

Happy Questing!

Animals

There are quite a few animals in this post, so I figured I would put that as the title. It's also a Pink Floyd album, lol. The Death duo has advanced from the Village of Sorrow to the Labyrinth in the last 2 weeks (along with part of Grizzleheim), so they deserve screenshots this time!

This little piggy fell flat on his rear.

And this little elephant destroyed the other piggy.

It's always cool to catch the Tree of Life fruit after the Death Oni battle. Kinda puts it into perspective by having to defeat 3 streets of enemies just for one of the fruits, too.

And so, later on, the Grand Chasm Past. It
is in the past and the Vault numbers are in the 1930s, so I thought I'd do a little showcase in black-and-white.

Enjoying the breeze ;)

The volcano, now with an ugly dragon gracing the top of it, used to be just like the Mooshu background ones. Even a little snow on the top. Imagine a little snow on the Dragon Titan.

As Dragonspyre isn't exactly my favorite world, I'm doing one area in GH and then one in DS for a change of scenery. GH is very pretty but can get boring. DS isn't very pretty and can get boring.

Enjoying a little Frostholm scenery. Hard tell what time of day it is in GH, definitely not as dark as MB, but more like a very early morning place. Part of what makes it pretty and graces Arlen's name (
Dawneyes)

New robe and wand time! And 2 more levels till Wraith..

So, as about everyone knows (but it still isn't displayed on the Launcher..) - Wizard101 Tag is out! I'm lovin' it. (This has nothing to do with you, McDonalds) A main strategy seems to be
a) Find a hideout (behind a tree, rock, cranny, etc.)
b) Take a useful star to use when an enemy finds your hideout and approaches
These are handy, and I've tried them (Found a good spot at Winterbreeze's house earlier and staked out there). But, you have to admit, it's usually more fun when you're running around. Of course, the chances of losing are enhanced, but the only reward for winning is bragging rights. In normal Tag, I like to hang around the Gobbler, as I tend to giggle when the "Beware: ______" thing changes 5 times in several seconds :P. Wildfire Tag is really fun too, though, and I'm glad they made that one. Seems worth the 2,000 crowns. Also, there are more music scrolls and other minor updates on the patch notes---woot! It says it's coming out "later this year" though. Could this be a celestian wait?

And, taking advantage of the Test Realm earlier today, I got lucky and got the final Foo Dog talent Petnome was missing. Those beasts covering their eyes like that is too cute ^.^ remember to check out the Petnome contest that comes with the completed Foo Dogs! Twelve 10k crowns prizes.. ooh.

And so, to wrap up, Cheryl+Chase have reached the Labyrinth and the Hall of Valor as of tonight. I reached the Labyrinth a few days ago and did Mirkholm Keep this past day or two. I did spend a lot of time playing Tag and hung at Ditto's party last night too though. Was in a one and a half hour battle most of the party that ended with a close victory. We were down 3v4 most of the fight but managed as the other team lost a player who had to go and we defeated their Life wizard. Of course, Paige was the last one standing :P. And, of course, Happy 2nd Wizzaversary, Ditto! Let's hear it for many more to come listening to your furry tales ;)

So.. let's see how far the Death Duo gets before the next post. Seems I'm going biweekly posts now, so I'll set a goal for completion of DS and GH by then.. we'll see! See you guys in March and have a good Leap Year, then :) you can always follow my Twitter feed for updates too.

Happy Questing!
